Historic Sign—Route 2 in Vermont. Lunenburg, Vermont. Route 2 does not terminate in Burlington, however. It veers north along with U.S. 7 to Milton before veering off to the Champlain Islands and north to Alburg.

At Mount Orne Covered Bridge in Lunenburg, Vermont. Built in 1911, the bridge spans the Connecticut River to Lancaster, New Hampshire. Most of the bridge is in New Hampshire. NRHP designated in both states.
