Burning weeds, a family affair.

They were controlling the fire with the water hose as needed.

There were plenty of tumble weeds up and down the highway, just like the ones that little boy is dragging in.

I liked their hairdoos, they were creative and elaborate. Many of the front doors had little signs that said "Zion" over them.

Observing and documenting things you may not otherwise get to see. It's my job! In this case it was OUR job.

Here's the bank on the edge of town. Colorado City is circled 3/4 the way with a highway, yet there wasn't as much as a gas station to stop at. It's clear, the FLDS doesn't want anyone else in their towns.
