Baby lily pads begin to take over this swampy arm of Lower Empire Lake
Bridge to nowhere
Dead trees mired in a swamp
Young pond lilies in abundance
A lily pad is stranded by the low water level
A duck swims underneath the bridge
A broken tree trunk gradually decomposes into the mud
Flowers, soon to become juicy blackberries
Paved trail as I retreated back to the outer loop
