The Bastendorff Bog Trail invites

Salal, coastal huckleberry, and a whole lot of trees thrive on this part of the coast

Trees large and small flanked the trail

Skunk cabbages were prevalent at Bastendorff Bog

Large patches of skunk cabbage indicated where the damp parts were

Slugs were out in force

Got plenty of forest time on this hike

Big Creek didn't seem particularly big today

This tunnel took me underneath busy Cape Arago Highway

Obviously, it was low tide
