Crooked Creek reaches the end

And now the fog rolls in

Our faces were getting sandblasted by the wind-driven sand

Some of that spectacular Bandon Beach scenery

An aggregation of rocks, islands, and sea stacks at Grave Point

Seemingly, all rocks point to the sky

View in the general direction of Coquille Point

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

The driving wind made hiking hard work

Old gulls don't get excited when we hike by

Coquille Point as we had just over a mile to go

We stopped here because the rocks were blocking the wind

The jetty on the south side of the Coquille River comes into view

Islands on the north side of Coquille Point

In comes another fog bank behind us

Jellyfish washed ashore were a common sight on the beach

The beach sand gets decorated by tide and small animals

Face Rock presides over its lesser rock neighbors

Portal to another world

I brake for colorful rocks

A tidepool reposes atop a rock formation

...and they were never seen nor heard from again

Islands as we rounded Grave Point while the fog thickens
